10 people have died and two others were in a motor boat coup in swamps in the southern Philippines, according to police and officials said Wednesday local.
And six passengers were rescued on Monday in the swamps to Ajoasan in Maguindanao province, 960 kilometers south of Manila.
The passengers on their way back to their homes when the boat hit the big waves and strong winds, according to the provincial police director Rodelao Joxon.
Among the dead were six children, and Mufcodan two children, one in the third and the other in the fifth.
Rescue workers recovered the bodies of the victims on Tuesday and continue their search for two missing children.
