Obama hopes that diplomacy will succeed in preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon



U.S. President Barack Obama, he hopes that there will be no need for military action to prevent Iran from manufacturing a nuclear weapon.

But Obama said he would not rule out any option to respond to this threat.

Obama's remarks came at a joint press conference Friday in Jordan.

Obama was asked whether he was prepared to deal with the consequences of a military strike, including the threat of Iran to destroy cities in Israel if Iran is attacked.

U.S. President responded by saying, that the best solution would be through diplomacy, and added that the United States would continue to press "non-military".

Obama said that if Iran is seeking to peaceful power it must find a way to prove this for other countries, so that Iran can become part of the international community.
