Pope Francis I urged Catholic priests on Thursday to devote their efforts to help the poor and needy rather than preoccupation with administrative positions in churches.
The Pope's homily was Francis today the latest indication since his election two weeks ago on his insistence that the approaching followers of the Catholic Church and the 1.2 billion more than the poor.
The Pope said during Mass in St. Peter's Basilica "We need to get out ... to the frontier where there are suffering .. blood blind looking Sight .. and prisoners languishing under the neck of the many forms of slavery civil."
