The EU foreign ministers are looking supplying weapons to the Syrian opposition

Being the foreign ministers of member states of the European Union (27 countries) consultations in Dublin, on Friday, to discuss the abolition of the arms embargo to Syria.

And France and Britain to cancel the ban imposed by the Union for supporting the rebels with arms against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, while most EU countries opposed the proposal, or harbored fears of at least about it.

The French president Francois Hollande threatened during the week before the EU summit in Brussels that he would not agree to extend the current ban on weapons to Syria.

It is important to note that the ban will end on May 31 next if EU governments agree unanimously on the extension.
