Japan plans to provide $ 210 million in aid to Myanmar



Announced Japanese Foreign Ministry officials that Japan will provide assistance worth more than $ 210 million to Myanmar in order to assist them to improve infrastructure and raise the living standards of ethnic minorities.

And NHK quoted yesterday, these officials as saying that this procedure is also intended to help Japanese businessmen to enter the market promising Myanmar.

Officials said the aid will help Myanmar to face many challenges faced during the development process and it will also be used for the purpose of providing food aid and access to on-the-job training in minority areas.

The radio that Japanese officials expressed the hope that this will lead steps to confirm Japan's readiness to assist Myanmar and aid Japanese companies to do business in Myanmar.
