A senior U.S. official announced on the U.S. presidential plane "Air Force One" on Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the Israeli attack on ships carrying aid to the Gaza Strip in 2010, killing nine Turks.
