U.S. Supreme Court raises questions about the "gay marriage"

Supreme Court justices questioned in the United States today, Wednesday, on whether federal law prohibits subsidies for the gay couple, creating a second tier of marriage, while recognizing the states gay marriage and rejected by other states and the federal government.

The judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, of the liberal trend, the Court, that the recognition of marriage "touches every aspect of life," and declared that the different definitions at the state and federal level has led to a "full marriage last is full."

Asked Justice Anthony Kennedy, which is the main casting vote in the court of nine judges, whether the federal government is able to define marriage, or to leave the whole matter to the United States.
